Here's what I know: you're in a season that feels equal parts magical and completely unhinged and it is going way too fast. I'm here to slow it down.
I'm not just about the everyone-on-three, look-at-the-camera-and-smile shots (we'll get some, grandma's gonna want one). I'm just as interested in what's happening in between those. Your toddler giggling as their dandelion blows in the wind. The dad who hasn't slept in three days but still can't stop looking at his kid like she's the only thing in the room. You, looking at your family like you still can't believe they're yours. Eventually you all forget there's a camera around and that's when the fun begins.
You'll walk away with memories where everyone's personality shines through (yes, even the dog's!), the kind you'll walk past one day to stop and look at over and over again.

Most parents come to me hoping for beautiful photos. They keep coming back because something happens in that single session that they didn't quite expect.
I grew up in a family of four girls so I have a deep appreciation for just how wonderfully messy family life can be. Whether you've got a house full of kids, a baby on the way, a husband who claims he hates photos or a very beloved four legged family member I'm not there to tame any of it. I'm there to capture things just as they are because this season deserves to be remembered honestly.

If you have a little one, you already know they're not exactly known for following directions. And honestly? I don't need them to.
My family sessions are built around movement, play and letting kids be themselves. We'll get the smiling-at-the-camera photos your family will want, but I'm just as interested in the running, giggling, exploring and blink-and-you-miss-it moments that happen in between.
I've photographed babies and toddlers through all kinds of stages, from those first wobbly months to energetic two-year-olds who have absolutely no interest in sitting still. You don't need a perfectly behaved kid for beautiful family photos. You just need to show up.
